When Tracey, our founder, was pregnant with her first child she realised there was a gap in the market for nursing bras that were both supportive and stylish, particularly in the fuller bust space. She knew she wasn’t alone, and this realisation drove her to create beautiful, high quality pieces that genuinely support women on their breastfeeding journey.

From here, she teamed up with our head designer, Katie, to develop a wirefree nursing bra that provided as much support as a wired bra, without any of the discomfort. Through inventive ergonomics, design research and development, they redefined wire-free support for fuller busts. Their innovation was such a hit that their customers begged for a non-maternity version, and thus the Sugar Candy brand was born!
